Each year we have several open slots in our exhibit schedule to accommodate artists’ proposals, as well as other opportunities to be included in group exhibitions.
The gallery maintains files and binders of exhibit proposals for ongoing consideration. In order that our curators can best assess and access your proposal, please mail or email (to email@119gallery.org) for consideration a package that includes
- a brief description of the nature of the work to be featured (i.e. medium, subject, development)
- approximate number of works
- an artist statement/bio
- resume / exhibiton history
- images, 6-12 digital or printed photos
