Sunday February 14 11am-3pm, $20
Crank Sturgeon instructs this workshop on how to build a Squawk-a-Doodle, which is a simple tone generator using an ordinary speaker cone and 9 volt battery. Also known as a “Victorian Synthesizer”, the class delves into building a lo-fi noise instrument using a 19th Century technological approach. For all experience levels, the workshop will also teach proper soldering techniques; and everyone will get to take home their very own!
Additionally, Crank will show microphone techniques with the synth (using contact microphones); so bring your own mic! Crank will have mics available at reduced pricing.
$20 per person, limited to 20 persons! Workshop is full, see you next time 8^)
