“The piece explores and expresses our most fundamental desire as artists; to create work of beauty and significance.
“It demonstrates the struggles, challenges and epiphanies of our quest.
“The format of the piece is two-fold. The artists build an installation in the space which consists of metal and wood sculptures, sound, video, written word and objects. Within this installation, there are a series of performances that include movement/dance, sound/music and text/poetry. Each performance furthers the physical development of the installation.”

Every poet should see what’s behind
the inner door at the119 Gallery.
You might not believe your eyes!
Life is Art is Life is . . .
Stunning!
Touchable sculptures from
Patrick Pierce is a love story.
Patrick’s creations are showcased
with swing and sway dance from
Claire Elizabeth Barratt. This unhurried
mix of movement, music and poetry
circles wood and metal objects…
touching your soul, metal touching wood
and wood touching…you…while
YOU touch pieces of Wonderland.
It’s a new world inside the 119 Gallery.
Poets and friends visit the 119.
Underway, the usual is a new unusual.
